The Truth About Calcium

Join Dr. Server Bozdogan, MD, PhD, for a cutting-edge session exploring how disordered calcium signalling – rather than simple deficiency – may be a key driver of chronic disease.
Discover the dangers of calcium supplementation and how impaired calcium regulation contributes to inflammation and calcification. Learn how an upstream strategy can restore controlled calcium handling.

What's included?

Calcium-based approaches have not shifted the course of many chronic diseases because the dominant defect is disordered Calcium handling, with compartment mislocalization and pathological trapping rather than a simple deficiency. This session positions calcium as a central regulatory axis in chronic disease, linking impaired Calcium signal transduction and compartmental control to sustained inflammatory tone, dysregulated excitability, and loss of coordinated cellular function, and explaining how restoring controlled Calcium handling can shift disease behavior across conditions. We introduce AIC Therapy as an upstream correction strategy to restore calcium signaling and reduce pathological calcium deposition, with direct implications for clinical application.

Dr Server Bozdogan

Dr. Server Bozdogan, MD, PhD, is Research Director at the Advanced Calcium Research Institute. His work integrates molecular medicine with clinical translation, with a focus on calcium signaling as a driver of disease biology. He studies how molecular Calcium regulation shapes pathophysiology and how these mechanisms can be converted into clinically actionable frameworks. His current interests include calcium signaling physiology and pathophysiology, cellular calcification and decalcification pathways, and interpretable clinical readouts. His projects aim to refine therapeutic strategy and treatment response by defining calcium-related signaling patterns and calcification dynamics. He also leads physician education and directs patient education programs.
